Unfinished portrait of Sonia waiting for more Stabillo pencils to come in the mail. I just spent 4 days with the most incredible artist. Great lessons in anatomy and the mantra of the day was "take your time," "don't be lazy!" Steven Assael gave me a hair lesson! Incredible 4 days of absorbing every last minute watching him work. The Workshop my easel is right behind him The Free Demo at the Armory Art Center Steven had been teaching from 9:30 until 6 then a very quick bite to eat He drew until 10:30 pm. Amazing!
