Curriculum for the remainder of September
Sept. 16 - INK THERAPY - using stamping techniques to create repetition
Sept. 23 - SHOES! - bring in your favorite pair - armed with foot anatomy
Sept. 30 - SHARED DRAWINGS - this is really fun! 


As usual, if you have any subject you want to explore, say the word!


Monday figure drawing will continue until October 23rd
I will teach at the Armory Art Center for the season but will return next spring


Thursday classes continue as before.

The article discusses Nerdrum's work as philosophical allegories. Always intriguing work with spiritual undertones. Reminiscent of Rembrandt. Nerdrum uses only four colors but he premixes the palette and tubes the colors he uses in his paintings. Curiously, he mixes blue from mars black and titanium white. SINGAPORE BIENNALE 2016

Lucky me. I arrived in Singapore to find their Biennale in the Singapore Art Museum and other Museums and institutions around town. It has been a great introduction to the Southeast Asian geography and culture. Many visits have pulled me out of an extreme state of jet lag and whetted my appetite to learn more about Southeast Asia.
