Curriculum for the remainder of September
Sept. 16 - INK THERAPY - using stamping techniques to create repetition
Sept. 23 - SHOES! - bring in your favorite pair - armed with foot anatomy
Sept. 30 - SHARED DRAWINGS - this is really fun!

Monday figure drawing will continue until October 23rd
I will teach at the Armory Art Center for the season but will return next spring

SINGAPORE BIENNALE 2016

Lucky me. I arrived in Singapore to find their Biennale in the Singapore Art Museum and other Museums and institutions around town. It has been a great introduction to the Southeast Asian geography and culture. Many visits have pulled me out of an extreme state of jet lag and whetted my appetite to learn more about Southeast Asia. Salvador Dali what gesture!!! Value drawings. The old masters called the use of value to show form, "Chiaorscuro." Usually low key compositions with intense lighting. (pretty hard to pull off with candles!)
