Thursday April 1 Drawing Class at ArtServe

Today, in honor of April Fool's day, we will be drawing Carnivale Masks from Venice.

Our focus for this lesson will be the power of contrast in our compositions.

The subjects will be my masks from Venice.
The possibilities are endless. Pattern plays a big part in the mask. We will translate that idea to the pattern in your drawing.

Materials:
Your choice of medium
Charcoal or pencil might make great value studies
You might consider working white on black or grey
viewfinders if you have them.
I will bring extras.

YOU ARE FEARLESS! YOU DREW A BICYCLE!
