Weekly Pigment: Cadmium Yellow Light Come with the materials you have. We will evaluate where you are and where you want to go with your paintings. I will help you plan out your ideas and show you what happens when you manipulate the shapes and values for success. Cool Artists for this week: Adrian Gottlieb Mr. Gottlieb has written a wonderful article about Verdaccio in "The Artists Magazine" this month. Verdaccio is a green underpainting for flesh tones. Grisalle is a grey underpainting or a value painting under color. These are great ways to explore the value of color and temperature shifts. Absolutely stunning oil paintings.
