April 1 Creating Contrast / Conflict in your drawings


April 8 In honor of Spring, we will be composing flower drawings.

Emphasis on dominance and value pattern to simplify natural structure.


April 15 Experimenting with Ink.

Use brushes, quills and sticks to create loose beautiful marks and values.

Be ready to travel to your peaceful place.


April 22 Tonal Drawing. We will practice seeing masses rather than outlines.

Experiments with powdered graphite and erasers.


April 29 Perspective 102. More practice on perspective and a push to experiment.
