This is a scanned article about finding the basic cube shapes of the head, ribcage and pelvis in a live model. I did a demonstration of this in class last monday. This article gives great graphic descriptions of this idea.

I will bring the ink we used to experiment in last thursday's class.
The looseness you gain from working with ink helps with the gestural marks in figure drawing.

newsprint and charcoal
